Lake Forest Corporate Education client Simonton Windows has achieved honors in two categories of the Corporate University Xchange Awards for Excellence and Innovation. The awards, sponsored by Fortune Magazine, recognize organizations that set the gold standard for training that improves both individual and business performance. Both of Simonton's honors were awarded for programs delivered by Lake Forest Corporate Education.
Through its collaboration with LFCE, Simonton's Leadership Challenge – a highly successful, nine-day certificate program – won the Corporate/College Collaboration category. Other organizations competing in this category included Intel and Mass Mutual.
Simonton also earned a finalist award in the Measurement category, sharing the podium with Boeing, Cisco Systems, and Pfizer. This honor was based on the measurable results of The Leadership Challenge, which documented a remarkable gain of $7.73 for every dollar spent on training in the first session of the program alone.
Simonton and LFCE have built a strong partnership over the years, collaborating to develop, deliver, and refine leadership development programs that deliver high impact business results.
In announcing the news, Kathy Leck, LFCE Executive Vice President, noted, "This demonstrates what can happen when we work together to consistently deliver meaningful business results and complete customer satisfaction. It is a tribute to LFCE and to all of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, in addition to being a well-deserved honor for our client, Simonton."
The Leadership Challenge previously attracted national attention in 2005, when it was named one of the ten best leadership development programs in North America by Executive Excellence, a highly regarded global leadership firm.
The ongoing recognition that The Leadership Challenge enjoys reflects the effective teamwork between LFCE and Simonton in achieving excellence in leadership development. Pete Rawlings, Simonton's Director of Training, concludes, "Our working relationship has gone from good to great as a result of the quality of the programs and business results achieved by participants. We're very pleased with our partnership with LFCE."
