Client Support Specialist - Lake Forest Corporate Education

LFCE, a strategic business unit of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, seeks a dynamic client support specialist to join their fast-paced team. The purpose of this position is to support the growth of LFCE business through providing on-going customer service to corporate clients and participants.

LFCE creates and delivers award-winning workshops and certificate programs on business leadership competencies tailored to our clients' needs. 

Since 1990, LFCE has helped Fortune 1000 companies and numerous small and mid-sized firms accelerate and improve their business results. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assigned to client accounts of certificate programs and works on account team(s) under the leadership of the director/account manager.
  • Supports business needs analysis by assisting in client background information gathering, research on competition, and data gathering.
  • Supports the sales strategies and processes of existing accounts. Listens for unmet client needs, helps make client needs explicit to account manager and then supports the fulfillment of the client’s needs.
  • Maintains current client files in LFCE contact software, and client records.
  • Supports faculty during recruitment, design, delivery and reinforcement services to ensure they have the necessary client information, tools, existing relevant curriculum, and delivery support.
  • Proofreads final program material.
  • Assists in the creation of materials to support sales calls including collateral and correspondence.
  • Launches, evaluates, and documents results of Return on Learning Investment [ROLI] studies under the supervision of the account manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in customer service, Master’s a plus.
  • Minimum 2-3 years business experience required, preferably in customer service or training and development.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design and/or experience preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, data management, and communication skills necessary.    
  • Must be self-motivated, an effective problem solver, and proficient with technology [MS Office], experience with contact database [Goldmine] a plus.
  • Effective project management and multi-tasking skills needed.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate strong customer intimacy skills essential.
