Carole Wald joined Lake Forest Corporate Education [LFCE] in June 2005 as an Account Manager. Carole has a proven track record leading all phases of innovative learning initiatives from vision to results.
Carole's background includes a blend of performance consulting, instructional design, facilitation, and project management skills, along with a dedication to customer service excellence. Additionally, she has been a thought leader in leveraging technology to enhance the learning experience.
Prior to joining LFCE, Carole served as Learning Program Manager at Oakton Community College's Business Institute. During that time she consulted with companies such as Federal-Mogul, Culligan, and Avon to identify learning programs to meet their performance objectives.
Previously, Carole served as a Senior Manager/Consultant for marchFIRST, a Chicago-based consulting company, in its learning services practice. While at marchFIRST, Carole partnered with clients such as Federal Reserve Bank, State of Illinois, and Pactiv to architect and manage learning solutions.
Prior to marchFIRST, Carole served as Director of Education for a leading systems provider consulting with national law firms and companies such as CNA Insurance, Federal Express, and Allstate. Additionally, she has been a facilitator of sales, team-building, and leadership training.
Her professional activities include convener of Chicago Chapter ASTD e-learning Professional Development Network, reporter for Chicago Chapter ISPI newsletter, facilitator for ASTD's first web conference, and speaker at ISPI and ASTD conferences.
Carole has a Bachelor's degree in Education with a Speech Communications specialty from Northern Illinois University. She holds professional certifications in instructional design, performance consulting, and project management.
